Holy Cross Day

We feel so fortunate to have found a school for our oldest son that is a complete joy in his life.  His days are filled with so much learning and laughter- great friends, great teachers, great experiences.  He is learning art, music, drama, Spanish, so many cool things on the computer, and best of all, he is reminded daily of the grace and love of God.

We visited this morning to celebrate all that is happening in the life of this little school and take communion together.

We also celebrated with the annual balloon release.  In years past balloons have landed as far away as South Carolina!

Zadie was so cute; she was excited to see them floating up in the sky, but was devastated when she figured out they were not coming down.  Poor sweet girl!

Rosie was mostly in it for the food.

There was a beautiful reception in the library.  Great snacks make even the best day better.

Andy is always so excited when we show up at his school.

He even had a hug for Zadie.  (and she didn't deck him, the real surprise of the day)

Had to get a little baby lovin'

Dave is such a good man.  Check him out with the baby and my purse so that I could snap some pictures.

Well, it was lovely.  Anyway, I just love this time of year.  Still warm out but so pleasant.  Hope you're enjoying the sunshine and the love of God in your life.
